CHICAGO, IL  More and more young adults are unable to maintain a healthy lifestyle and active social life due to increasing pressures at school, work and home. Practice HORA USA (www.horausa.com) will present to young people a new athletic training of dynamic concentration of attention as a method of preventing the decision fatigue, stress, anxiety and reliance on substances as a relief. The HORA-TRANCE FIT™ event is to be held  @ University of Illinois Chicago on Thursday, November 1, 2018 @ 6:00 pm (UIC Student Center East, 725 S Halsted Rd, Chicago, IL)

Anti-Substance Training Event: "Evolutionary Creation vs. Self-Destruction" with HORA-TRANCE FITNESS method.

For young adults, the training of HORA-TRANCE FIT can prevent development of negative habits, anxiety, self-belittlement and dependence on substances as method of release.

"Training of evolutionary trance meditative attention is to train ability to immerse into oneself and at the same time being present in life demanding activities in business. This is where a person is learning to mobilize his/her attention and focus to the maximum for the specific task, but at the same time resides in the correct inner place which does not burn out physically, emotionally. Via HORA-TRANCE FIT, the individual trains an evolutionary trance mobilization™ and concentration of attention; this is where he/she develops beneficial interconnection between brain, body and nervous system. It removes tension, reduces biological cost of concentration, and builds up psycho-physical endurance and willpower," said Tatiana Fedotova, leader of HORA-TRANCE FIT training. 

 

 

 

Why are we doing this:

The American College Health Association in its 2014 survey reported that:

  1. Nearly 1 in 6 college students (14.3%) had been diagnosed with, or treated for, anxiety.
  2. Nearly 1 in 5 of students (21.8%) of students said that within the last 12 months, anxiety had affected their academic performance.

As per numerous studies, it is known that substances (caffeine, energy drinks, alcohol, drugs and smoking) change brain make up and its function over time. Teenagers are more likely to experiment with substances as a way out of stress/anxiety and those are more likely to produce addiction.

The study of Motivation in Adolescence, led by R. Andrew Chambers, published in American Journal of Psychiatry cited these facts:

  1. Most adult U.S. smokers begin smoking before age 18, and the onset of daily smoking is uncommon after age 25.
  2. Over 40% of adult alcoholics experience alcoholism-related symptoms between ages 15 and 19, and 80% of all cases of alcoholism begin before age 30.
  3. The median reported age of initiation of illicit drug use in beginning between ages 15 and 18 and rare initiation after age 20.
